Dominic Lash

I am a film scholar interested in the philosophical study of narrative film. My interest in Anscombe's work has in recent years just kept growing! Her understanding of so many concepts central to the interpretation of film (intention, description, practical reasoning, moral psychology, the first person - to name but a few) would, I believe, very healthily shake up our understanding of films and film viewing, were anyone to pay it any attention. (I am also interested in the work of the other three members of the "quartet", although Anscombe is my chief interest.)
