Hello. I am working on an intellectual biography of the philosopher and theologian, Donald MacKinnon (1913-94). MacKinnon taught at Oxford, Aberdeen, and Cambridge universities. While at Oxford, he tutored the members of the quartet in philosophy. He was a particularly important influence on Murdoch, Midgley, and Foot.
