Profile
I am Professor of Philosophy at Florida State University. I've done a lot of work on Anscombe's philosophy of action especially, but also have wider interests in ethical theory and her idea of a philosophical "grammar".
My book, Anscombe's Intention: A Guide, was published by Oxford University Press in 2019.
I also wrote a long biographical essay on Anscombe, based on the archive of her papers at the University of Pennsylvania, that was published recently in Commonweal magazine: https://www.commonwealmagazine.org/untempted-consequences
