Profile
During my master's degree at the University of Leipzig I got especially intrigued by bringing neo-aristotelian ethics, particularly Foot's idea of natural goodness, in conversation with Kant's philosophy of biology and Kantian ethics.
Murdoch's novel "The Bell", which I encountered when coming to Cambridge, struck me in such a way that I knew that this was about to become a life-long relationship. With fellow students we started a reading group in which we read both, Anscombe and Murdoch. In the coming years we hope to organize more events on the life and thought of these two astonishing thinkers and personalities.
