Research
I am currently teaching a third-year module on the Oxford Quartet at the University of Hull.
I am also interested in developing a project on the Oxford Quartet and public philosophy - what the Oxford Quartet show us about the necessity of doing philosophy in relation to pressing real-world interests and concerns; how they provide us with a model for doing this.
I did my PhD on the philosophy of nature and ethical naturalism - my paper 'Radical Ethical Naturalism' (Philosophy and Social Criticism, 2018) incorporates both Foot and Anscombe (though is quite critical of Foot).
